Join LifeWorks Community Action for a special evening that brings together supporters, community leaders, and key influencers who care deeply about the strength and future of our region.
In Bloom: A Community Leadership Dinner is designed to celebrate the collective impact of those who help make our community stronger while supporting the vital work of LifeWorks. During the evening, guests will enjoy meaningful connection, a brief program update, and the opportunity to gather with others who share a commitment to children, families, and neighbors in need.
LifeWorks Community Action provides essential programs and services that help individuals and families build stability and opportunity, including Head Start, WIC, Food Programs, Weatherization, Immigrant Services, and Family Support Services. The evening will include a brief update on the impact of this work and the growing need for support across our community.

Community Leadership Honoree
Honoring Community Leadership
This year, LifeWorks is proud to honor Matt Veitch for his longstanding commitment to public service and the Saratoga County community, as well as his deep connection to the mission of LifeWorks.
Matt currently serves as the Saratoga Springs City Historian, preserving and sharing the city’s history, and as Chief Executive Officer of the Saratoga County Capital Resource Corporation, where he supports nonprofit organizations through access to financing for critical capital projects.
He previously served for many years on the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors, including as Chair, where he advanced initiatives across public safety, economic development, and community investment.
Matt also served as the Public Sector Representative on the LifeWorks Community Action Board of Directors for more than a decade, helping to advocate for and support the organization’s work on behalf of children and families throughout the region.
A lifelong resident with deep roots in Saratoga Springs, Matt brings a collaborative, thoughtful approach to leadership—driven by a commitment to service, problem-solving, and improving quality of life for others.
